All of the parcels combined to produce this wine are located in Daix, the Mortet family’s native town, north-west of Dijon. The vines are some 400 metres in altitude. And the parent rock is just under the surface of the soil which is brown and very chalky.
The spirited and mineral character of this wine is brought about by the high altitude of the parcels used in the production of this offering. This is an easy to drink wine evoking herbal tea and white peach aromas. It is ready to drink in its youth.
